The Strategic Air Command Memorial Amateur Radio Club (SACMARC), Incorporated, is a
Non-Profit, Public Benefit Corporation in the State of Nebraska and is affiliated with the
American Radio Relay League, Incorporated, of Newington, Connecticut. The purpose of the
corporation is to preserve the communications history of the Strategic Air Command and
United States Air Force through amateur radio by a variety of lawful means.

KØGRL/KØAIR
Special Event Station
Again this year, to recognize Veterans
Day and General Curtis E. LeMay’s birthday ,the Strategic
Air Command Memorial Amateur Radio Club (SACMARC) will be
operating both KØAIR
and KØGRL on
Thursday, November 11th, 2004 from 1200 hours to
2400 hours Zulu (UCT). The
stations will operate in the general phone bands on or near to
the following frequencies ending in 47 (for 1947 when the Air
Force became a single entity)
3.947, 7.247, 14.247, 21.347, & 28.347, whichever
band seems to be open best to most locations. Also look for us
on 51.47MHZ. We
will also be on 146.46 simplex for local folks.
You should also listen to the 3905 Century Club WAS Net
in the evening. Please join us in celebrating this day.

site and you will find a little form here. Fill in the
information and click on the submit button and we will get an
e-mail telling us where you are.

(after contact, of course), Please visit the SACMARC web site
at http://www.sacmarc.org. Contact information and
mailing address are listed there also. Please include a
‘SASE’ with your QSL card.

When and Where Do We Meet?
Our regular business meetings are quarterly, at 7:30 PM, on
the third Mondays of March, June and September. The location
for these meetings is the Wendy's on Galvin Road in Bellevue,
Nebraska. We also have a special annual election meeting in
December at a time and place to be announced. Primary talk-in
is on 145.115- MHz (WBØQQK/R). Back-up is on 145.235- MHz (WBØEMU/R).
